Graduated from Law School from the Universidad Iberoamericana de México. In addition he has a Master of Laws from Northwestern University (Chicago), a Master of Laws from the University of Deusto (Bilbao) and is a Doctor of Laws fromAlicante (Spain).
He has been considered one of the 200 best lawyers in the world by the leading English firm Legal's Finest. And, carried out several research stays at the prestigious Yale and Harvard Universities.
And, has was considered an Expert Witness in the American Court on numerous occasions.
For several years, he was a faculty member and professor for both Undergraduate Degrees as well as Graduate Degrees at the best universities in Mexico such as: Escuela Libre de Derecho, Universidad Iberoamericana de México and Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). In addition to serving at public institutions such as the Supreme Court of Justice where he teached various courses on criminal matters, criminal procedure, crime theory and legal research.
He is also the author and co-author of more than 40 books and articles, all on criminal matters and criminal procedure.

She's currently undergoing a Masters in Constitutional Rights taught by the University of Leon, Spain.
She is also the author of two articles published in 2020 in the legal magazine "Puntos Finos".
